How To Cancel Quick Quack Car Wash Membership

Canceling in the myQQ app takes under a minute. But Quick Quack requires 10 days notice before your renewal date cancel with two days left, and you’re still paying for one more month, with no refund on that charge.

That single clause is why people cancel, get a confirmation screen, and still watch the money leave.

There’s a second catch most people never find the app itself isn’t even named as valid notice in the terms of service. Only email and phone are.

Cancellation Method

1. Open the myQQ app, or sign in to your myQQ account on quickquack.com.
2. Tap Account, then Settings, then Cancel Your Membership.
3. Pick the vehicle you’re cancelling if you have more than one on the plan, each has to be cancelled separately.
4. Confirm, and screenshot the confirmation before you close the app.
5. Email [email protected] the same day to date the notice in writing.

One thing the app won’t warn you about canceling deactivates the account, not just the plan. Pull your wash history or old receipts before you hit confirm.

Canceling by Phone, Email, or In Person

Include your name, phone, license plate or VIN, and the last four of the card, then ask for the cancellation date in the reply.

On the phone, get the rep’s name and a confirmation number before you hang up. That’s your only proof the call happened.

Asking at the wash is the route I’d trust least. BBB complaints against Quick Quack include members told at a location that staff couldn’t help, who got billed anyway.

It also lines up with that mismatch from earlier the terms only recognize email and phone as valid notice, so an in-person request has no contractual weight even when a staff member says they’ll handle it.

If email goes unanswered for more than a few days, follow up or switch to the phone line. Don’t assume silence means it’s processed.

Refund Policy

You’ve already paid for the current period, so a normal cancellation runs the membership to the end of it with no further payments drawn.

The terms also allow an immediate cancellation, which kills access that day with no refund.

There’s no partial refund either way not for the days you don’t use if you go with the standard route, and not for the days left on the month if you pick immediate.

The only real choice is whether you want the washes you already paid for or not.

Mark your calendar for the day access actually ends, not the day you submitted the request. Showing up after that date with an inactive membership means paying for a single wash at the counter.

Downgrading Instead of Canceling

You can move between the three wash packages any time in your myQQ account settings or by asking a Team Member to file it, and for most people quitting over price, that’s the better move.

Packages typically run from around $20 to $40 a month, so dropping one tier can cut the bill without losing the wash altogether.

Quick Quack’s own FAQ confirms plan changes go through the same myQQ settings as everything else.

Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so a downgrade needs the same head start as a cancellation get the request in at least 10 days before renewal, or you’ll get one more month at the old price before the new one kicks in.

If you have more than one vehicle on the membership, each one downgrades separately. Dropping a shared plan to a cheaper tier doesn’t remove a vehicle that still needs its own request.

If You Keep Getting Charged

Work through this in order, and leave the bank out of it until the end.

1. Search the account email for a confirmation, spam included.
2. Email [email protected] with the date and method you used, and ask for the cancellation date in writing.

4. If a charge lands after a confirmed date, request the refund in writing, escalate through BBB if it stalls, then go to your card issuer.
